Delivery by Cesarean How?

When should choose Caesarean
An American study showed that the number of patients who choose a Caesarean has increased by 20%. Their reasons vary, ranging from medical factors that can harm the fetus and mother, to deliberately choose caesarean section because of fear of pain when giving birth normally.
According to dr. Nana Agustina, SpOG from Children's Hospital Mother Mother (Mother RSIA, Menteng), a cesarean delivery is the process of giving birth by surgical means, namely through an incision in the abdominal wall and uterine wall. "There are various conditions that cause women have a cesarean delivery. One is a narrow maternal pelvis, or pelvic deformity, "said dr. Nana. Another cause is Cephalopelvic disproportion cesarean section, the circumstances in which the magnitude of the fetus does not match the capacity of the pelvis so it must be removed by caesarean section. Fetal weight also exceeded the normal limit, which is 4 kg. "If more than that, the baby should be issued for caesarean section because it will disturb the respiratory and complicate the process of straining when having a vaginal birth," said dr. Nana.

In addition to problems in the pelvis, the fetus is less well able to force a cesarean birth mom, whom is placenta previa. "Placenta previa is a condition where the location of the placenta blocking the birth canal, causing bleeding," said dr. Nana. There is also fetal distress (fetal distress), namely the condition of the fetus is already not good and should soon be born. If not, the safety of baby and mama could be threatened. Abnormalities of the fetus, such as transverse or breech baby, is also another cause that many candidates found mama.
Mothers who planned Caesarean scheduled basis tend to have better prepared mentally than if the actions performed as an emergency Caesarean. "Psychological effects of post Caesarean generally not different from mothers who gave birth to normal when it has to know the baby is healthy.
But it does not mean a cesarean delivery away from the risks and complications. Bleeding, infection of the abdominal muscles and uterus, is the number of complications that can arise in a Caesarean. Mama is a cesarean birth control should be more frequent to the hospital to check for scars. Complications are also more frequent in case of impromptu cesarean, or cesarean section because of an emergency. Do not forget also, that section requires a longer recovery period, because of the injury to the abdominal wall and uterus.

Both had a normal delivery or caesarean section, both the medical action of this procedure each have the ease and risk factors. All returned to the prospective mother, how to manage the pain, undergoing recovery period, and most importantly, seek salvation baby. Each delivery must have the story of 'portfolio' of different.
